Julia Josephine Slone has recently released her debut solo album "The Baby and the Bathwater." After years of study and active involvement in the southern Vermont music scene, Slone launched her solo career as an independent artist and songwriter in 2009. Drawing from a broad range of stylistic influences from pop, rock, reggae and soul to swing, folk and old-school country, Slone brings joy and a sense of humor to her seriously crafted songwriting, resulting in material that is remarkably smart, moving and fun.
