Colorado Hip Hop has always struggled to find a national identity, but the self-proclaimed "Box Boy King" Myrical Child has made it his personal mission to put the BOX STATE (Colorado), on the Hip Hop map once and for all. A youngin' in age, but hardened by life's ups and downs, Myrical Child was born in Denver, Colorado in 1989 and grew up in Park Hill before moving to neighboring Aurora, where he currently resides. A poet by 4, a rapper by 8, and a full blown working MC by 15, Myrical Child has been a fixture in the underground Colorado scene for years, doing hot 16's for various other local artists, and rockin' stages whenever the chance came at places like,The Denver Coliseum, Cervantes Nightclub, The Palm Tree, Juneteenth, Phat City, George Washington High School, Club Zodiac, Bash Nightclub and countless number of house parties, talent shows and proms. Myrical is a writer, producer, MC, and an all around force to be reckoned with. His unique sound catches your attention, his ever-present swagger captures your mind, his lyrics massage your brain. Now signed to Seattle based Jake Records, Myrical is hard at work in the lab on his debut LP. If you happen to slide through Denver, Colorado you can catch him doing his thing with the Box Boyz and other heavy hitters in the "B.O.X. State. Myrical Child is definitely making history for his generation of hip hop. Don’t sleep on him or you’ll be in for a rude awakening!
