Description:
Gino Matteo is a local Southern California blues artist specializing in New Orleans funk and blues/rock. His award winning guitar stylings and heartfelt blues vocals are a must see/listen for everyone; the blues lover or just plain music fan.
Gino's debut album, "I've Been Thinkin'" had an advance release in the last quarter of 2007. Official release is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008. Physical and digital copies are currently available through Gino's website at www.ginomatteo.com, as well as CDBaby and iTunes.
"I've Been Thinkin'" is getting airplay on the Midnight Special Blues Radio Show, the Sounds of Blue Radio Show, Delta Frank's Blues Blowtorch and many others.
Gino has been playing at all the popular Southern California blues venues for years and the show is always fun, fabulous and full of funk!
Currently, Gino is also sitting in on guitar for Johnny Mastro and the Mama's Boys and tours with the mid-west blues band, Blind Dog Smokin'.
