Description:
Scale Model is an indie-rock/pop, female-fronted band based in Chicago, IL. This 4 piece group combines complex instrumental structure with unique and catchy vocal melodies to create a sound that seems to transcend the staples of pop. Drawing influences from bands such as Sunny Day Real Estate, Sonic Youth, the Cure, Built to Spill, and Death Cab for Cutie, Scale Model utilizes counter-pointing guitars and syncopated rhythms to create music that is both energetic and dynamic. Everyone seems to first notice either the amazing vocals or intricate dual guitar lines. This crowd pleasing band will draw you into the intensity of its music and leave you humming one of the catchy melodies.
