12/22/06: New Song Finished/Trevor's Vocal Debut/Outsiders Only: We have another song ready and posted. It is our self-titled anthem Battle Cry and it is my lead vocal debut. I hope you like this one, cause I'm singin' 3 more on the CD. The entrie track can be heard here. Also, we have been chosen by Outsiders Only as their Artist of the Month for January. So, keep your eyes on www.outsidersonly.com for our official page and the podcast featuring Battle Cry. 12/10/06: Bassist for the CD: Our former Bassist, Randy Kurtz of Near Death Experience, from the days when we were known as Sacred Legacy has graciously agreed to return to the fold for the recording of our CD. This is great, because Hans and I learned that we are not very good with the Bass. We've already done a couple of sessions with Randy and it's been awesome. Also, we've added another sample to the music page. The instrumental Osiris has been finished and a sample uploaded. We're still looking at a New Years release on the CD. Thanks Trevor

11/15/06: Song finished: We have finished The Battle Cry of Freedom, which is a very cool Civil War song that we "Metal-ized" with Harry Conklin as guest Vocalist. Working with Harry was an awesome experience, and we're very proud of the outcome. Harry has also agreed to do some Gregorian-style chants for our epic The Inquisition which I am sure will also be remarkable. I know we said we were shooting for a Halloween time-frame for the full release, but that obviously has slipped, so now we’re looking at a Christmas/New Years release. Also, we haven’t been able to work out a schedule with Mike Pittman from Distant Warning. Unfortunately we have to move forward with getting this done, so Tristen Madrid will be the only drummer appearing on this project. We hope to work with Mike in the future. 08/18/06: Recording Status: I thought I would give all of you the latest in the recording process. We are getting ready to lay down drum tracks with a very talented drummer - Triston Madrid from Milquetoast & Corrupting Celeste. Don't worry, Mike from Distant Warning is still involved, he will be doing some additional percussion on The Battle Cry of Freedom, which is a very cool Civil War song that we're "Metal-izing" with Harry Conklin as guest Vocalist. Instrumentation should be done in September, with Vocals, Ear Candy, and Mix/Master happening in October. We will probably do internet releases of single songs as they are done and then the CD should be released by Halloween (fingers crossed)!!! By the way, the bonus Track Battle Cry of Freedom will only be available on the CD (we do want to sell some of them ya know) and will not appear on the internet. The CDs will be very reasonably priced though, probably around $10-$12 containing 8 songs, which is a bargain for the level of talent in our guests (hopefully our playing doesn't detract from their work).
