Description:
The Fusion band was put together as part of a larger ministry focused on bringing together the young adults in our community with a desire to praise God and share His love with people who don't know Him. We started the fusion ministry in October of 2003 and it's been going strong ever since. The main focus is creating a comfortable atmosphere where young adults (18+) can come and not feel intimidated or embarrased and can worship freely with live music, fellowship, food, games and special guests. The music ministry of the Fusion band has spread beyond the fusion gatherings lately and has reached out to community events and even a national youth conference called BNYC.
Band Members:
We have 5 band members: Jeremy Trim is the lead singer and plays Lead guitar. Steve Peters plays drums. Mike Traylor sings backup vocals and plays rhythm and lead electric guitar. Brian Spirito plays bass and sings backup vocals. Seth Bond plays the acoustic guitar and provides backup vocals as well, and at times picks up a lead vocal part for himself.
Every one of the band members is saved and proclaims boldy that Christ is their savior and Lord. We are not doing this for any glory of our own, but for Him alone. We beleive that God has given us what we have, not only our talents but everything we own and can claim as belonging to us. Because God has given these things to us, it is only right that we use them to give glory back to Him.
