Description:
Formed in early 2004, the Holy Fire played their first show opening for TV on the Radio and haven't stopped since. They use a jangling, spacey, twin guitar attack over Bohnam-by-way-of-Jimmy Chamberlain drumming and walk a line between balls out post-rock and singer/songwriter, lyricism. One of those bands that take small pieces of much of the past three decades' great music, get high on it, and come up with something entirely unique.
In January, 2006, The Holy Fire signed with indie label The Militia Group. Their second EP, "In the Name of the World" will be released on February 21, 2006 and a full-length is slated for later in the year.
