This Halo Burns is a five-piece band based out of Berlin, NJ that was formed in November of 2004. With all members having come from tech metal backgrounds, THB decided to make structure and repetition the main focus of the songwriting, while still remaining heavy and somewhat technical. Having played/toured in countless past bands (The Valentine, The Concubine, The Clancy Six, Vincent Prices Orphan Powered Death Machine, The Gunshy) the members decided to go the opposite route as their past bands, making recording and touring the primary focus from the beginning, rather than playing local shows, with touring as an afterthought. The band recorded a two-song demo at Clay Creek Studio (Boy Sets Fire, Paint It Black, None More Black, The Valentine, The Huntingtons) in Newark, Delaware on February 23rd and 24th of 2005. With the demo finished, This Halo Burns plans on playing out heavily and touring as much as humanly possible./
