Description:
successful 80's Punk band released two top selling albums, When the Punks go Marching in" and the classic "Black Leather Girl". During the early eighties the British band, based in Leeds were seldom out of the top five of the Indie Chart with blistering anthems such as The Army Song, Vicious Circle, Burn em Down, Jailhouse Rock, Banner of Hope, and The Prisoner.
Band Members:
the band reformed with the original lineup plus new guitarist Steve poplewell and did their first gig in Bradford, England in February 2003,it was great to be back. But things weren't the same like the old days (20years is a lot of water under the bridge) and cracks started to appear when Harry left, so new bass player Chris Bertram took over duties and toured the USA and Belgium. the band didn't enjoy the studio as much as they had liked,
Nev was getting bored so drummer scruff came in to lay down the drums on Vicious circle. he then became a permanent fixture as the band really enjoyed the new chemistry between the guys. Dave wasn't happy giving out royalties to new members so he refused to speak with the band. his heart wasn't in the music anymore,... shonna had no choice,. the only way to move on and keep this great new chemistry was to call in Eden townsly on guitar,an old friend,,and monster punker!! this gave the band even more chemistry, it was like the final piece to the punk puzzle, things felt great again,,awesome & exciting!!
it was like 1980 again!!
