Description:
Still Reaching formed in the summer of 2002 by Jason Epstein (bass) and Jeremy Walter (guitar). They want to create high energy punk rock music with a meaningful message and a variety of influences but most of all, a unique sound. They remained the only two members in the band, belting out song after song in their room at college with their shitty equipment and no permanent drummer or singer until well into 2004. By then, bassist Jason Epstein had decided to step up to the role of lyricist/singer in addition to bass guitarist and college friend Travis Barnaby was found for the role of drummer. The demo was done in January 2004 with a temporary drummer. There was little time and money, not to mention little experience using the rented recording equipment. Over a week of fucked up scheduling the demo was created. Still Reaching’s aspirations include working hard to make a name for themselves in the underground music scene, touring, and recording their first full-length album.
