With the resurgence of retro sounds in modern rock comes a new approach to hard rock music – Rightfully Accused. Since its conception in 1999, Rightfully Accused has been one of the only bands in town capable of "rocking the balls off of an elephant" (actual fan quote) and providing a killer stage performance that leaves fans screaming and begging for more.

Formed while the members were still in high school, Rightfully Accused set out to be the largest and loudest rock and roll show in existence – and audiences agree they may be “Rightfully Accused” of doing just that. Their on-stage energy and overall performance is unique and instantly recognizable in a climate of uninspired visual performance, and Rightfully Accused always provides an explosive show. The Rightfully Accused sound might be a bit more difficult to place, yet always seems vaguely familiar. While not entirely retro, their sound and image still draw on familiar aspects of the best of rock music to push modern music to its limits. By playing an infusion of old-school rock (the guitar technique and attitude of Led Zeppelin and Guns N’ Roses meets the soaring, layered vocals of Def Leppard and Skid Row with the rhythmic virtuosity of Rush and depth of Alice in Chains) blended with their own take on the modern scene, Rightfully Accused will leave your arm sore from pumping your fist in the air... and you'll love every minute of it.

But from the beginning, Rightfully Accused has been dedicated to remaining a true original rock band. The members have always focused on artistic development above all else, and yet never struggled to find a musical identity or conceded to passing trends, but shared the same vision of an honest, true rock sound in a modern context. Original members Sean Murray (Lead Vocals and Guitar) and Tristan Bonser (Lead Guitar and Vocals) are able to bring the melodic aspects of the band to the apex of virtuosity and technical proficiency, with Dr. Dave DiGiacomo (Drums) and Paul Bic’ Klinger (Bass and Vocals) supplementing it with a rhythmic driving force that captivates audiences and defies musical boundaries.

The band’s first album, LA or Bust, was independently recorded and released in the fall of 2001 and has widely sold among fans of the group since Rightfully Accused exploded onto the Denver music scene the previous year. The album features 11 tracks of all-original material co-written by the group, many of which have become fan favorites over time and have been integrated into Rightfully Accused’s 40+ original song repertoire. Although young enough to just be entering the scene, the members of Rightfully Accused are already veterans of the Denver music circuit and bring a combined 15 years of public performance experience to the stage.

Even with all they have accomplished, the members of Rightfully Accused are still actively involved with breaking new ground, in more than a musical sense. Already in 2005, the band has been through the studio and completed two new singles, with many more on the way in the immediate future for compilation into a new full-length album. The band continues to write new material and frequently surprises fans by unveiling fresh songs during routine performances. Rightfully Accused regularly performs in the Denver music circuit and is expanding to other regional venues, welcoming any opportunity to reintroduce new audiences to what they’ve been waiting to hear.
