Description:
If you took a blender and dropped rock, pop, psychedelia, electronica, new wave, math rock, post punk, ambient and added a bit of art and noise in there and hit the puree setting, you might get something like elevado.... or you might get a big mess if you left the lid off.... depends on the day and how bad your hangover is that morning.

elevado is recording a 7Inch. It is a tedious process doing everything ourselves. Its also a loto' fun. we gaze at our sounds through micro-sonic exploratory mind motions. the results are always surprising ::::
lots going on... between some of our members moonlighting in divided like a saints, our state of potentially permanent pre-production, traveling to different cities to give it a go at weasling our way into each little town ::: elevado has been bizzy buzzing around. We are starting to grow roots in Atlanta, Athens, Birmingham, Augusta, Macon, Nashville and Savannah... while looking for seeds in Asheville, New York, Boston, Charleston, Richmond, and Washington. The beez are always looking for bands like ourselves to trade shows with.... so get in touch with us... ::: here is a recent review that was a plesant surprise from one of our latest shows in nashville: "listening to Atlanta band elevado, its shocking that their new record hasn't found its way onto some hipster indie label. What with their completely realized jangle-pop perfection, which recalls Television, Galaxie 500, The Mekons and Guided by Voices, there has to be a home in the hearts of self- respecting music nerds all across the college radio dial for a band this good."
