Höllõ has been together since 2002, spending most of the past two years developing the unique sound that you hear today. In their own words, they play hard-core, honest, and pure music of all genres. Looking to make their break into the major east coast market, this four man group believes in hard work and professionalism. When asked what they thought makes this band different they responded. “Because we believe in this and each other, not only as band mates but as friends.”

Höllõ’s intriguing sound is lead by it’s seemingly melancholy lyrics written and performed by George Lee Thomas Norris A.K.A. L.T. Born in Baltimore, Maryland in the late 1970s, he is the modern equivalent of a young Jim Morrison. His lyrics are deep with thought and inspiration, sounding more like poetry until you put Höllõ’s hard core beats behind them. Being relatively new to music Höllõ (formerly known as Hinder) is his first experience with live performance, although it would seem he’d been doing this all his life.

Leading Höllõ’s charge with a screaming guitar is Mark Commodari. Born in Baltimore, Maryland in the mid 1970s, and being involved in music for fourteen years, his experience is evident. He has been in such bands as Haymaker, Unbound, Alienated, and Pivot, at live performances his fingers fly, coming up with guitar riffs that boggle the mind. Playing both rhythm and lead guitar in Höllõ he has been heard saying “I should make as much sound as I can since it’s just one guitar.” Both in the studio and on stage his concentration and intensity are made apparent by the expressions on his face.

Next is the intense and insistent rhythmic pound of the bass guitar played by one Kevan VanHorne. While he may be the youngest, and seemingly the quietest of the group, don’t let him fool you. Having played in bands like Loabn and Smokering, once you get him started it’s hard to get him to stop. Normally the first one to the studio he can be heard practicing by himself. When asked his home town the response was “Calgary, Alberta Canada, Bitch!” This is the personality and attitude in which he inserts into his own unique style of play.

Last is the energetic, almost insane, beat of the drums played by Daniel Michael Weiprecht A.K.A. Dayne. Also born in Baltimore Maryland in the late 1970s, and having played in such bands as Ray-Ray, Haymaker, Pivot, and Smokering his fourteen years of experience shows. Not only in his creative fills and rolls but also in his professionalism. He’s not just a drummer he’s a Journeyman Electrician who respects education and thinks every child needs a chance. Ever the philosopher, once you hear him live, you truly begin to respect his talents. His driving beats push Höllõ to the edge and force people to notice.
