First Parable

Band Members:
Brian- (guitar/ vocals)I've been playing acoustic/classical guitar for over 3 1/2 years now. In that time, I've gotten the privelege to lead the worship at my church, as well as be an active member of Jazz choir at my school. I've always had the idea of an acoustic band, but it wasn't until May of 2004 that it actually came together. God has blessed me with some amazingly talented friends.

Brandon- (guitar) He is in total love with Christ. Very much an inspiration to me every day. Brandon's been playing the guitar for about 2 years and leads the worship at his church, Grace Vineyard. He will be experiencing the wonders of Jazz choir next year for the first time.

Priscilla- (fiddle/ vocals) Cilla has been playing violin for about 3 years, and she's already AWESOME! She and I played together previously in the band at our church, CREW. She's been trained more in classical music, but this girl knows how to tear it up on the fiddle when she wants to. lol. The violin is definately the part of First Parable that makes us stand out in the crowd.

Kris- (acoustic bass/ dijouri do) Kris was the last installment for First Parable. He's played bass for almost 8 years now, mostly jazz at his school. His style of playing brings another great diversity into the band. He also plays the dijouri do (I think that's how you spell it). This guy is really talented. It's kinda cool when you hear the australian sound of the dij mixed in with american folk.

As a whole, we've been together for only a few months. But in that short time, God has blessed us with more opportunities to talk to people about our faith than any time. We understand in a very personal way that music can move the masses in either a possitive way or a negative one. Our prayer is that someone will hear the sounds of First Parable and be interested enough to ask us a few questions.
