Band Members:
Luna Halo was started in 2001, when Nathan Barlowe set out to persue something that mixed honest lyrics with musical integrity. After several member changes, the line up was complete. With the addition of Aaron Jenkins (bass), Chris Coleman (drums) and Nathan's brother Cary Barlowe (guitar), who had just graduated from high school, they immediately began writing, recording, and touring.

10.08.04 NEW TOUR DATES ADDED Luna Halo has been in L.A. writing for their upcoming album. 5 songs have already been completed. In the meantime, they are also playing shows in the southeast so check the tour page for more info.

7.30.04 STUDIO After several delays...Luna Halo will finally enter the studio to begin recording with producer Matt Mahaffee (Self), August 9-20. The band will be recording 5 new songs to be released later this year.   7.29.04 MMS SHOW CANCELLED Due to the guys being scheduled to go into the studio, they have had to cancel several dates during August. The band regrets that one of those dates is the Midwest Music Summit. Check the tour page for details.

Luna Halo has been asked to open for The Psychadelic Furs and Blondie at Dancin' in the District in Nashville on August 21st. Blondie has recently reunited to tour again, and have released their 11th album 'The Curse Of Blondie". 4-3-04 European Tour

Luna Halo will return to Europe in July to play a series of festivals and club shows. Norway, Ireland, England, and Sweden are among the scheduled stops. Cities and venues will be anounced soon.

4-1-04 New E.P.

On April 20th, the band will release a 4 song E.P. for a limited time that will only be sold at shows and on this web site. Track listing includes "Wasting Away", "Over the edge", "Bittersweet", and "Save Me". Luna Halo is scheduled to begin recording a full length this summer.

Luna Halo has been asked to play the infamous South X Southwest festival in Austin, TX. on March 18th. The guys will be a part of the BMI showcase. No word yet on the venue or time, but check back soon for details.

1/8/04 PLANS FOR NEW EP

Yes.....yet another EP! A full album is coming soon!! This one WILL be available in the U.S., and will have 4 brand new songs. The band is set to go into the studio in a few weeks with producer and Dreamworks recording artist Matt Mahaffee from the band SELF.
