Description:
Jazz. Straight-ahead with fusion leaning. Original work, jazz classics, and standards. Perform club work and private parties. Primary configuration is quartet - keys, sax, bass, & drums. Will do trio work keys, sax & bass or keys bass and drums.
Band Members:
Yasha Susoeff - Keys - Self taught. 30 years of gigging. Composes and arranges. Also plays in a R&B bands (Straight Six).
Gregg Carpenter - Bass - Upright and electric. Berklee School of Music graduate. Composes and arranges. In Big Time Operator. Played with many pop and jazz greats.
Jim Weiss - Sax - Tenor and alto. Studied with Charles MacPherson. In Big Time Operator. This cat is incredible!
Dan Lancelot - Drums - Dano has toured with many big name groups. Now settled in San Diego, he also plays Steel Drum and operates Dano's Island Sounds.
