Description:
Rock Prophets are a Indiana Christian Rock Band who play secular rock, pop, country, alternative Christian Rock, praise and worship, and rocked up hymns. We love to perform and to tell the wonderful story of Jesus and His love. We are evangelical in our motives and seek to share the good news of Jesus through music and witness.
Band Members:
This foursome have formed a unit that blends their differing backgrounds and centers them in their common love for God and the gift of music.
"Mike Mattei is the answer to our prayers," says Tyring, "He's got the licks and he has a heart for the Lord." Keith Richey is a talented singer and bassist who has years and years of band performance experience. Randy Harmon, the band's drummer, drives the band rocking rhythms. "Randy creates drum movements that make sense of what is in my heart, but I can't put on paper," says Tyring. "Somehow he knows the feel of a song." Scott Tyring, who organized the band in 1999, is an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church.
