Description:
Shaggtribe is a 4-piece band out of Baton Rouge, La. Our music takes on many influences, but rock, reggae, funk, pop, and a tinge of bluegrass sort of rule the scene. We play mostly original stuff, but we throw a few choice covers in there to appease the crowds, mainly rap or reggae songs.
Band Members:
There are four members. Beau Guidry is lead singer/rhythm guitar, 23 years old. He and bassist Eric Daigle,23, are both originally from Lake Charles LA, and have been friends since grade school. Drummer Eric Brumfield is 29 years old from Baton Rouge, formerly the drummer of a prominent metal band in Baton Rouge called Brother. Austin Kennedy, 24 and also from Baton Rouge, is the lead guitar, with a background in jazz, rock, and funk. He also has been known to bust out the banjo on occasion.
