Description:
Bad Neighbours is a four-piece Classic Rock and Blues band, fronted by a superb female vocalist, and we're based in Lowell, MA. We specialize in songs from the late 60's, the 70's and 80's, with a few newer songs thrown in for good measure. From time to time, we toss in a few originals, usually when requested.

Band Members:
Toni Knott (Lead Vocals)

Toni “TNT” Knott fronts the band as the lead vocalist. She's been singing most of her life. At the age of 11 she began performing with her mother and stepfather's band called "Me and You". It was at that time that she realized how much music meant to her and how much she loved it. During the years she sang with several bands featuring country, pop and rock music. Her passion is rock music. Through the years she has studied voice and is currently learning to play guitar.

Bob Lord (Drums)

“Bad Bob” Lord started playing the drums at the age of 9. He played in a family band, in which they played various types of music to cater to all age groups. He also took up trumpet and played that in the band, but always enjoyed playing the drums most of all. He has an interest in all types of music, but found rock to be his favorite. Before ‘Bad Neighbours’ came together, Bob played drums in a blues band called ‘Catfish Howl’.

Paul Lord (Bass, Vocals)

Paul Lord (aka “Paul E. Dangerously”) is one of the smoothest bassists in the area. At nine years old, when Paul began playing clarinet and saxophone, little did he suspect how important music would be to him later in life. He enjoyed playing in school bands and teaching himself guitar enough to continue with more formal training. At Notre Dame College, he earned a degree in music education and studied voice, performing an operatic recital in four different languages.

After college, while working on his career and starting a family, music took a back seat as more of a hobby. All of that changed in 2001 when Paul picked up his first bass guitar and taught himself to play. In addition to performing his own original material, he loves to play classic rock and blues. Prior to becoming the bassist with Bad Neighbours, he played bass for ‘Catfish Howl’, a local area blues band.

Ed Grossheim (Guitars, Vocals)

“Cleanhead” Ed Grossheim brings 36 years of guitar-playing experience to ‘Bad Neighbours’. Ed has also been writing original songs for over 20 years. His original compositions have been described by many listeners as "bluesey, with a dreamlike quality", and "smooth and relaxing". His solo licks have been lauded by fellow guitarists, who have noted his “early-70’s style vibe”. His passion is the Blues, but he cut his chops on rock music from the late 60’s and early 70’s. Ed is also the founder and guitarist for “The Blues Phoenix Band”, based in Lowell, MA.
