Description:
Blood gurgling death metal. Mortdom is based on Death metal and Grindcore roots with no intention to fit into any specific genre. Heavy is good Heavier is better.Mortdom is and has been one interesting project. The band originally formed in 1994 and has since grown like some mutant beast from Hell into what we are today. The band itself has emphasised originality and diversity as well as just being plain loud and agressive. Mortdom is a "Shock rock" / Death Metal band and always working on new ways of offending or shocking the fans as well as putting out our heaviest and loudest sound we can master. The members of Mortdom are a colorful lot. From the maniacial and bizarre vocalist/ guitarist (Rob Seaverns) Mortdom gets a very unique sound in the vocal department indeed. The Rythm section is pounded out by the Guitarist (Matt Ebenal), Bassist (Aaron Daniel) and Drummer (Tim Timmuah Mong). Mortdom gets a very chunky bottom end only to be chaotically disturbed by the ear shattering vocals. Mortdom has become what we have all really asked for. One Heavy Louder than all Hell grindy son of a bitch! And we like it! Mortdom has just released "Wholly" which will hopefully do very well! With all things considered you don't find many original bands with the ability to be diverse and comfortable with it. Mortdom is definately one of those bands. Mortdom is definately a "Live" band so we want to put out a more true to sound recording than a overproduced bucket of effects and mud. "Wholly" seems to be doing well as hoped. The new track here "Cut and Dry" was 1 of those songs that just happened. We recorded and produced the entire album in 3 days, hence the term "Speed Metal" and were happy with the quality and sound we got for such a short time in the studio. We have shows coming up, STAY TUNED!!!!! After that we're planning gigs around the state to get this cd out there. Buy it!!!!

Mortdom has been changing lineups for about 12 years now... the bands base is the Lead singer / Guitarist (Rob Seaverns) and the Drummer (Tim Mong) currently Mortdom is a 4 piece band with the addition of Matt Ebanal and Aaron Daniel and hopefully it stays that way.
