Jeff Coffey

Jeff has toured and performed with such artists as Hootie and the Blowfish, Edwin McCain, Sixpence None the Richer & Vertical Horizon just to name a few. His recording credits include working with such great producers as Keith Olsen (Fleetwood Mac, Whitesnake, Rick Springfield), John Kurzweg (Creed, Puddle of Mudd), Justin Niebank (Keith Urban), and Stan Lynch (Don Henley). He released his first solo CD in 2003 featuring his distinctively powerful voice through soaring melodies and solid songwriting. The rich sounds of his music solidly found their place on the Pop and Rock airwaves as many songs received spins on over 60 Top 40/AC stations across the country, as well as XM Radio.

After many packed shows at feature venues such as Hard Rock Live, House of Blues & SunFest, Jeff has established himself as a prominent force not only in the Florida music scene, but nationally as well. He won accolades from Songwriters Showcase of America. In 2003, his song "Carousel" was voted Song of the Year and in 2004 he was named Male Solo Act of the Year. His songs have been featured on television shows such as MTV's Fraternity Life, Sorority Life, Room Raiders and E! Network's Gastineau Girls just to name a few. "Write About Me", released in March of 2004, is featured in Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's video game Sweet 16 Licensed to Drive and topped the NMW AC40 "Most Added" &"Prime Mover" Charts.

Jeff's National TV appearances include NBC's "StarTomorrow", "The Daily Buzz" on the WB Television Network and performing the National Anthem at several Orlando Magic and Atlanta Braves spring training games. The undeniable heart-and-soul of this up-and-coming artist is evermore present in his music. "Music is the backdrop to our lives and I hope that my music can affect people. I don't want to sound like everybody else, and I certainly don't want every song I play to be more of the same thing. Songs from the new CD have already been garnering international attention and winning awards. The title

track to “Long Way Home” recently received the honor of being named the overall yearly winner of the Pop category in the 2006 Song of the Year contest (http://www.songoftheyear.com/). Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation, and its’ judges are some of the biggest names in the music industry, including many Grammy Award winners. “Long Way Home” also features the highly popular song “Through Your Eyes” which was prominently featured on NBC's Star Tomorrow.

“Long Way Home” is the newest chapter, advancing Jeff’s career to the next level following his highly successful self-titled debut CD released in 2003. Several tracks from that CD won numerous awards, received spins on Top 40/AC stations across the country and XM Radio, and led to various national television appearances.

Jeff's songs have also appeared on many television shows on major networks such as NBC, MTV, A&E, Bravo, FOX, E! Network, HGTV and Discovery Channel; not to mention film and video games licensing. Track #4 "Ordinary" will be featured in the new HBO film "Kid Midnight" which will begin production in LA this summer.
