Description:
Beyond Blonde kicks out original fun, jams with southern rock and classic rock influences and a twist of funk.
See this band perform once, and you’ll know what’s unique about them! Known for their energetic and eye-catching show - in the words of noted vocal coach Lis Lewis (director of the Singers’ Work Shop) - “there’s so much going on up there, I had a hard time deciding who to focus on . . . your performance was riveting!” Formed in 2002 and consisting of three sexy women and one smoking male lead guitar player, Beyond Blonde has been chocking up one accolade after another (see below). Unlike the angst-driven sounds of punk, grunge, or modern hard rock, Beyond Blonde’s music is positive, straight-ahead, soul-driven rock-n-roll that’ll make you dance & smile. Moreover, since the band’s influences range from Aerosmith, Skynyrd, Chicago, the Doobie Brothers, Van Halen, Buddy Guy, AC/DC, and the Rolling Stones to Led Zeppelin, its audience consists of people from 6 to 60!
