My name is Laurel Geare and I am coordinating a battle of the bands for West Beach studios in Hollywood, CA. West Beach studios is celebrating their 25th birthday and have recorded such rock legends as Bad Religion, The Offspring, NO FX, Rancid, Blink 182, and many more. Right now I am in the preliminary stages of finding the hottest bands to compete that night. (tentatively the end of Feb or early March at the Vanguard in Hollywood,CA) The prize is 5 days free at their recording studio! (which is priceless these days!)
Basically, we are looking for great bands with a great draw! It’s going to be a fun night with music celebrity judges! So far we have the ex-drummer from Bad Religion scheduled to be one of our judges. And we are anticipating other industry professionals to take part!
