Dayenu

It all started off with the game of "Guitar Hero". They literally played the game day in and day out, till their forearms became too sore play. After awhile the brothers started to think that they could do the real thing. So on weekends when their mother went to the local "Sam's Club", They would try to play the lessons they remembered on YouTube. After a few months of mooching off "Sam's Club", and the local music stores, they obtained their own instruments.

Gregory R. Roachford, Jr(DreTheFaith), the eldest brother, was given a Guitar for his 15th birthday, and became the lead guitarist. Joshua Roachford, the middle brother, bought his own Guitar and became the rhythm guitarist. Matthew Roachford, the youngest brother, was given an Electric Drum set for Christmas, and became the drummer for the band.

A year later, the brothers were able to play at an intermediate level. 8 months after that, the brothers created a band called "Synonymous State" with David Depres. After a 12 month time frame went by, the band preformed an hour and a half set at the 2010 "Cherry Blossom Festival" in Macon. A month after the brothers took leave on "Synonymous State" and started their own band "Dayenu", Which means "it is enough".

A few weeks rolled by, then the brothers entered in the 2012 Georgia State Fair, and was called to preform the very next day. For the next year the brothers took a break off preforming to work on the band. In 2012 the brothers preformed at Friend's talent show and won. They are currently looking for shows for the summer before the eldest brother "Gregory(DreTheFaith)" starts his freshmen year at Shorter University. This does not mean that the band will break up, it just that the band will be put on a hold till Greg gets settled in college.

They also started in the entertainment field when they were only 8, 9, & 10. Worked in featured films such as the movie, "The ATL" (water scene in beginning of movie), "Warm Springs", "The Gospel", BET's (Somebodies), and a featured family in ABC's WifeSwap 2008, Season 5 Berwick/Roachford episode.

Band Members:
Gregory R. Roachford Jr, is the central processing unit to the rock alternative band's music. He is the lead singer, lead guitarist, songwriter, and composer for this all-black rock band. His lyrics will keep you thinking long after the song is over.

Joshua Roachford, is rhythm/bass guitarist that brings the extra "UMPH" to the music of Dayenu. His catchy riffs will have you whistling them though the hallways.

Matthew Roachford, is the Heart and center piece to this whole operation. He is the Drummer/back-up singer that keeps everyone on a dope beat. His Drum rhythms will have a beat going though your head all day.
