Description:
Jon Lee and the Canebrakes is a Savannah Ga. born and bread trio with a blend of blues,soul, and modern rock. Our sound is different but easy to listen to and blends with any environment.
Band Members:
Jon Lee Murphy on guitar and vox was born to play guitar and sing. He writes all of the original songs for the band. John is an experienced live and studio musician with 2 bands. Brian Haynes on drums has been playing on the Savannah scene since 1990. He was also a drummer with the U.S. Navy and has played in several venues around the world. As well as Jon Lee and the Canebrakes Brian is also a session drummer for a few local artists and studios. Kevin Bell on bass is from Atlanta Ga. With 30 years experience on the bass, Kevin has been with several local bands, recently the popular Sunset Jet as well as various studio projects.
