Let's start the story with Cristina Bautista. In the late spring time of 2008 Cristina moved from Los Angeles to Bellingham Washington after discovering how important it was (and still is) to have good people in your life. Cristina met Valerie at a Bellingham house show through a mutual friend. Valerie Brogden, a drummer and student at Western Washington University had been moping around Bellingham freelancing as a drummer for whoever needed one after the break up of her rock band, The Mechanical Dolls. The night ended with Cristina and Valerie in an improv jam session on a ukulele, toy piano, and accordion. It was magical. The two quickly decided to start a band together and Cristina invited her old friend, Meghan Kessinger to join the party. The two shared a drummer when Meghan was playing in the pop band Racetrack and Cristina was playing in Paxil Rose. Meghan, Valerie, and Cristina soon became awesome friends who hug for 20 seconds at a time and the rest is history.
