Description:
The Little McKay Creek Band has been together since Sept. 2002. They are a high energy country/rock band that can't get enough of performing. They perform every year for the world famous Pendleton Round up as well as Chief Joseph Days and the Helix Rodeo. They have opened up for Brad Paisley and will open up for the Gourds in April. They perform all over the Northwest for clubs and events. If you are having a party, this is definately the band you want to have. They play music by Chris LeDoux, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Toby Keith, Tom Petty, Jason Boland and musicians that you may have never heard of. And of course those party songs that every one loves to hear. Obviously the list goes on and on but this should give you an idea of the style that the band likes to call "crock". They also have their own songs that people are coming to love more and more. In 2005 the band entered the Colgate Country Showdown and did well with their two original songs. They plan on entering again in 2006 if their schedule will permit it. You can also check out the band on myspace.com for more pictures and songs.

Latest News:
Things are looking up for the Little McKay Creek Band. They are opening up for the Gourds on Sat. April 1st. They are a band out of Austin, TX. If you don't know who they are, they are the ones that re-did Gin and Juice. In Aug. the band has an opprotunity to open up for 3 major acts. They have their fingers crossed and will let everyone know as soon as everything is set in place.

On March 13th Scott and his wife added a new baby girl to their family. The band is taking the month of April off so that everyone can spend some much needed time with their families. They plan on spending some time in the practice room as well and will hit it hard again in May.

On March 30th the band entered a Battle of the Bands. They took 1st place and will be performing again at the Ponderosa for the next round on April 27th.

Wow, it's Aug. already. Since the last time this was updated we have shared a stage with Kevin Sharp and Emerson Drive. Chief Joseph Days had record numbers this year and the crowd was great. Pendleton Round Up is coming up. I guess we'll see you all there.
