MIDLINE began its journey in Boise, Idaho in 1990 with founding members, vocalist Anthony Fagiano and guitarist Scott Elliott. Their 1994 “Silver Album” release debuted at #1 in local sales, and with local and regional radio airplay, MIDLINE catapulted to the forefront of the Northwestern music scene. Through constant touring and the 1997 release of their second CD “Damage Done,” MIDLINE continued to increase their solid underground fan base and CD sales. With the addition of bassist, Stymie and drummer, Fred Fischer MIDLINE has reached new heights as musicians and brothers. This bond remains the driving force behind the band that continues to redefine their genre. In 2001, MIDLINE participated in music conferences such as The Temecula International Film and Music Festival and the renowned South by Southwest music conference in Austin, Texas. MIDLINE’s performance at SXSW garnered them a corporate sponsorship with Jagermeister. MIDLINE has performed on the 2002 and 2003 Jagermeister Music Tours with artists such as, Drowning Pool, El Nino, Coal Chamber, Breaking Benjamin. MIDLINE continues to be a leading Jagermeister band. Also in 2001, MIDLINE released their 3rd CD, “In For A Quick Garden,” and once again debuted at #1 in local sales and was met with rave reviews. The immediate success of “In For A Quick Garden” caught the attention of Gotham Records and was re-released as “MIDLINE” nationally through ADA/Time Warner distribution. “MIDLINE” debuted nationally at #38 on CIMS (Coalition for Independent Music Stores). Independent radio promotion giants McGathy Promotions also picked up MIDLINE for national radio promotion as a result. Since the release of “MIDLINE”, the band has continue to tour nationally and has shared the bill with such artists as, Godsmack, Saliva, and Sevendust, to name a few. MIDLINE, now in its 15th year, is as fresh and vital as ever. MIDLINE is currently hard at work on their 4th CD while continuing to perform at a rigorous pace. New songs include the monstrous “Watson”, the undeniable heavy groove of “Control”, and “Everyday Is Rain”. These songs have been recorded for demo purposes and mixed by former Systematic guitarist Adam Ruppel. MIDLINE continues to write material for the forthcoming CD while reinventing their music and themselves as artists. MIDLINE has stood the test of time and continues to be one of the most important bands in hard rock
