In the summer of 2002, 3 metal heads came together wanting to jam.Adrian Pizano-guitar,vocals;Robert Perez-Bass;&Sterling Junkin-Drums. Each with small practicing equipment and just influence in their head. After jamming in a garage for a couple of months, music material was created forming the band War Maggot.After getting the material together, they performed with many local acts, trying to get there name exposed, after many shows there goal was accomplished, although came crashing down in 2003 due to band members leaving the band. Once called War Maggot,the remaining members struggled to find new musicians.Just a 2 piece, Disfigured was born.The band was brought together by it's two original members Adrian Pizano and Sterling Junkin.Two metal heads who wanted to create original death/thrash/black metal.Losing other original members War Maggot brought in Guitarist John Gonzales changing the name and forming Disfigured.Having influences ranging from labeled band Cannibal Corpse to Devourment and Crucifixion from Texas. DISFIGURED was born creating original Death/Black/Thrash Metal. Loving to jam, they worked hard and tried their best to get known and to get shows. Slowly but surely, they were making their way into the valley's underground metal scene. Until the band came into an end in December of 2004.John and Sterling were out of the band.Remaining member Adrian Pizano was not to give up, seeking dedicated musicians, he kept the music going, still creating material for the future band to come. In early 2005, Adrian brought in Gabriel, Jacob, & Josh forming a destructive band to which nothing or anyone was going to get in the way. Forming the Band "ORGANIZED MASSACRE". The band now consists of: ADRIAN:LEADGUITAR,VOCALS,-GABRIEL:BASS,- JACOB:RHYTHM GUITAR,&-Josh-DRUM ATTACK.The line up was set and the band was prepared. ORGANIZED MASSACRE is a band that uses creativity to structure and construct originality in their music.This is not the end to what was known as WAR MAGGOT,DISFIGURED but only just the beginning. The band is in the process of recording their first demo and is soon to be released. To conclude,We would like to give a shout out to all the metal heads who support the south texas underground metal scene.Also for Serge and SOUTH TEXAS METAL PRODUCTIONS and Ruben from RIGOR MORTIS RECORDS who are making the valley metal scene grow. Band Members:
War Maggot, the members consisited of Adrian Pizano- Vocals/guitarist,Robert Perez- Bass, Sterling Junkin- Drums. Dealing with the bass player getting out of the band. We were in search of a musician who was going to be dedicated and devoted to the band who would also want to be in a band who created originals, and not bullshit like covers. After many trying out, we met John Gonzales, a good musician who was interested and who would be devoted. In that case he became the newest member in the band, with having that change we decided to change the band name as well, to what is now Disfigured. Consisting of Adrian Pizano: Vocals/guitarist,Sterling Junkin:Drums,John Gonzales:Guitarist. Now, ORGANIZED MASSACRE, THE MEMBERS CONSISIT OF:Adrian-lead guitar,vocals-Jacob:rhythm guitar-Gabriel:Bass,& Josh:Drum Attack.
