Attached to the Maine Chowder House, located on U.S. Route 1 in Belfast Maine, The Scallywag Tavern is a 100 seat bar with pool, steel tip darts, Sunday afternoon Bike Shows(weather permitting), with live weekend entertainment, Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and NASCAR coverage. A great menu and a ton of local and imported beers, bottle and tap. The view isn't too bad either, on top of a hill overlooking all of Penobscot Bay and Belfast Harbor. A great lunch stop on the way to or from Bar Harbor.
