Music types: Folk, Acoustic
Description:
We are a husband-wife team: Dwayne and Barbara Smith. Dwayne plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, washboard, etc.; Barbara plays accordion, recorders, dulcimer, autoharp, etc. We play American and Celtic songs dating from the 1800s and before to the early 1900s. We incorporate a variety of styles and instruments to create a style we call "calico grass". Our style takes elements of folk, bluegrass, and classical music to create a unique sound which appeals to all ages.

Band Members:
Dwayne and Barbara both grew up in northwest Arkansas and have lived in southwest Missouri since 2002. They have played music together since 1998. They have played at libraries, festivals, churches, schools, cafes, residential centers and senior centers, the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, AR and Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.
