Description:
Forged in the fiery wasteland of Columbus, Ohio, House of Cards is here to bring the rock. Featuring a huge mess of influences, realized as a sound combining the best aspects of electronica, post-rock, and pop, House of Cards maintains a pop sheen with huge choruses and hooks. The band originated from Justin (guitar, programming, falsetto) and John (vocals, megaphone), but quickly enveloped Steve Neme (guitar), and then Dan (drums) into its cohesive, ooze-like grip. Recently added Steve Young (bass) will round out the low end once the arrangements are worked out. The shows are energetic, the fans are multiplying like speed-freak rabbits, and the studio time needed to cut an EP is coming soon.
Band Members:
Justin Neme (guitar, programming, girly-singing) A penchant for arrogance, pomp, delay, tube screamers and p-90 pickups. John Price (vocals, megaphone) He's probably prettier than you, and more diabetic. Steve Neme (guitar) Worm bites fish. Dan Parker (drums) 2 oz. Pantera 1 oz. Dave Matthews Band Dash Neil Diamond or Alice in Chains Mix gingerly, garnish with Mogwai or Hum. Served in a snifter. Steve Young (bass) Punk rock gets a day job as an economist.
