Description:
Murder on the Dancefloor creates all of their music based on that feeling you get in your heart when you have witnessed something beautiful. They combine driving deep bass lines with funky and ambient guitar, electronic and organic drums, and original lyrical commentary. Their influences are typically wide-ranging, but include the Teardrop Explodes, the Talking Heads, Miles Davis and Conflict. Downloads of their songs can be found at www.geocities.com/murderotdf . Band Members:
Andrew Rivera is the percussive virtuoso of the band, and employs digital pads as well as the traditional drum set. Jason Lawrence is the solid bass force within Murder on the Dancefloor, and sings back up vocals as well as playing percussion in the band After the Massacre. Jamison Womack brings his unique style of lyric spinning to the band, and also plays guitar and synthesizer.
