Description:
The Sixth Hour is comprised of two bands native of Augusta, GA. Those musicians combined their talents and added a second vocalist to round out their unique sound: hard hitting groove metal with a progressive ambience of harmony. The songs reach out and touch many aspects of human spirituality and cry out against the typical pop music that litters the air waves; encouraging and challenging people to look inside themselves and start a rock revolution.
“In the Penal Colony,” by Franz Kafka, there is passage that states that on the sixth hour of torture the prisoners that were sentenced to death have a revelation that one can witness happen through the eyes. And upon that hour they are enlightened with the spirit, and made right with the powers that control the heavens. That’s how the band views its music. When playing the songs they have created a huge weight is lifted from their shoulders and all is right within them. The Sixth Hour is a time of spiritual enlightenment and release.
