Phunkie Phlowas was born amidst the desolate landscape of the Midwest during the summer of 1995. A man known by no other name than Clark approached metal frontman Isaac Khan while playing air guitar onstage at a local park and this is what he said. ----“Do you want to get funky?” ----“Do you want to rhyme with me?” - The Phlowas were born. - The Metal band died. - The Phlowas grew. - Clark died. - Two sprouted in his place... Mr. Ben Begonia and Mr. Eric "I can't think of a flower that starts with E" Heartley. The Phlowas relocated to New York. Then they anti-relocated to Missouri and played many sold out shows at the Golf Club. Next they relocated to Tempe, AZ, recorded an album, recorded a second album with the same title, toured the world, and went on vacation for the last 5 years. When asking Phlowa Isaac Iris whether we might see a return of the Phunkies he had this to say: “We have done it all, there is not much left to do... But, our new album will be out May 1st, 2007” New drummer Mr. Weed had no comment.
