Description:
Shirl grew up on country music inspired by her father growing up who always encouraged her to pursue her dreams as a singer and musician. She was always singing to anyone who would listen since she was little. Shirl modeled for the Gary Von Modeling Agency for 2 Years and then worked for the agency for an additional year in the office and workshops helping upcoming models learn to apply makeup, walk the runway, work on portfolios...etc. Shirl Modeled furs, dresses, high heels, Purses, 2pc. outfits and hairstyles. Shirl's heart was in the music so she quit modeling and she went back to music and thats where she remains today. Shirl is a singer/songwriter and composer who has sang since she was little and played guitar since 1988 and drums since 2003 and bass since 1991. From boot stompin fast to belt buckle slow Shirl just loves to sing, write, and compose. **Career Highlights/Vital Stats** Shirl has played with organizations such as March of Dimes, The Hunger Task Force, benifits and has played In Wva, Tn, AL, OH and has played with such bands as Southern Stars, Indian River, Rag and the Rose, Roger Martin, Harry James Gang, Jerry Cole, Saddletramp band, Autumn Mist, Sour grapes, radical driveway, The Horizan Band, High Ridin Heros, Poney Express, Carwin Country, Coon Hollow Band, Midnight Rodeo, Outriders, Timberlane, Wild Card Band, Souther Rose Band, Ghost riders, and many more. Shirl has been on Local television programs, worked in studios and just had fun. Shirl touches the heart of people in songs that can be identified with, with a style all her own, and a voice like no other.
