My solo band was formed after the breakup of Candy From Strangers, which occured in December of 2006. A few notable guitarists formerly in my band include Brent Croll, another guitarist from Martinsburg, and Sebastien Breyne, a foreign exchange student from Belgium. My band for the talent show this year consisted of me on lead guitar, Nate Reid on Rhythm, Joe Sullivan on vocals, Cody McGee on drums, and Sebastien Breyne on bass guitar. Mcgee also plays bass and is currently doing so in the band since Sebastien is returning to Belgium near the end of June. If you go to youtube and type in my name it will come up with videos from both CFS and my solo band. We play some covers but mostly original material. All of my songs have a classic rock vibe, which stands out against most of the current popular music. We will play for anyone anywhere so if you need a band that can put on a real show get in touch. I'm looking forward to it.
I play lead guitar and do lead vocals for my band. I've been playing for a few years and have written quite a few songs, my album has 19 tracks, all originals. My main guitar is my Johnson JS-330 and I use a Marshall VS 102 valvestate to achieve my sound. Nate Reid is also a guitarist from the cove. I've been playing with him for a few months now. I was pretty impressed with both him and Cody Mcgee because they are both only 15 but are two of the best to come through Central High since I've been there. Mcgee plays both bass guitar and drums, which is very good because its very important to be able to play multiple instruments when your dealing with a 3 or 4 piece band. Sebastien Breyne is a foreign exchange student who will be returning to Belgium shortly. We played two shows together including the 2007 Central Talent show. We also played at a dinner at my church, performing the Beatles classic, Hard Day's Night.
