From the aggressively expanding music scene in the south comes a new band that consistently brings energy to both their studio offerings and their live shows. ZEROYEAR successfully combine critical musicianship with an explosive sound that insures the listener a broad range of tasty rock tunes that will keep the disc in the player.
ZEROYEAR consists of players considered as the "cream of the musical crop" in Columbia, South Carolina. Chad Waller brings a tonal domination to ZEROYEAR with guitar work that is over-the-top and intimidating without being overly heavy. Bassist Kenny Edwards pounds away in a fierce frequency that keeps the band's low-end sound tight and crisp. Robert Savage destroys the drums for ZEROYEAR with a "Mr. Hyde" style that is second-to-none live and keeps the pulse flowing on the disc. Melodic stylist Byan Leaphart's powerful, intimate lyrics will have you singing along with the band by the second spin of their disc.
Multi-platinum producer Joey Donatello is credited on ZEROYEAR's first full-length, self-titled disc. His involvement with the project has helped to shape a modern rock sound that will earn ZEROYEAR all of the attention they deserve. The ten tracks were recorded at Rax Trax in Chicago, IL, SMART Studios in Madison, WI, and Jam Room Studios in Columbia, SC. The songs span a broad range of heavy rock and give the listener a great perception of what the band will bring to the stage live.
