Seventh of March began as solo project for artist Ben Fama Jr., by creating unique sounds with articulated musical styles. The purpose of Seventh of March was to create music that was an "escape" from the normal world we live in.
Being born and raised in Las Vegas gave Ben exposure to many different music styles over the years. Ben's musical background ranges from being an acoustic singer/songwriter in the late 90's, to being a lead vocalist in a nu metal rock band, and recently composing electronic music. Ben's musical influences include Willie and Lobo, Ottmar Liebert, and Enigma.
Though his music style reflects his influences, his main influences are from many other styles of music. The sound of Seventh of March is a mixture of New Age and Electronica., mixing a sonic texture of sound with simplistic melodies. The vision of Seventh of March is to tap into the subconscious, and give a sense of understanding to what does not make sense.
