Description:
The B-Team is four generations of tuned-up rock & roll -- original members range in age from 18 to 55! As our business cards say, we play "everything from George Jones to George Thorogood, with plenty of stuff in between." We also play several original songs. Our first CD, SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 8:30 AND 9, was released in June 2004. Check out our official website at www.bigyellowmama.com!
Band Members:
TIM COSBY (guitars, vocals) -- The finest guitar-slinger in 27 counties, Tim's influences include Duane Allman, Bobby Bare, and Mark Knopfler. Among crowd favorites are Tim's renditions of "Marie Laveaux," and Jimmy Buffett's "A Pirate Looks at 40."
SCOTT HARBUCK (bass, vocals) -- The newest addition to the B-Team family, Scott adds a wealth of musical knowledge and laid-back attitude to the mix. Scott is also currently producing the B-Team's debut CD, SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 8:30 AND 9.
AL HODGES (drums) -- A veteran of rock and roll, Al's drums form one half of the B-Team's rhythm section. As Tim likes to say, "It takes all we can do to keep Reverend Al in line, and it takes a force like Reverend Al to make the other three B-Team members behave." We also recently got Al ordained online, just so he can live up to his nickname.
ERRICK SMITH -- piano, keyboards, vocals -- After years of languishing in the television news business, Errick quit his job to try his hand at something meaningful. Influenced heavily by Jerry Lee Lewis and Fats Domino, Errick's style is a great complement to the B-Team's sound. Errick is also (so far) the author of all of the B-Team's original songs.
