||i think these guys are pretty cool people so uh yea (word of advice to the band) Never give up!!! well its nothin you never heard but still. take it.
on march 1, 2002, casey sharpe (vocals/guitar), dane edwards (bass) and david rees (drums) met up with mr. justin charles (lead guitar) at justins home in jersey village, texas. after casey and david's awkward introduction (the two had never met), the practice began. the combo planned 3-4 practices every week for the remainder of their sophomore year, and then nearly everyday for the following summer.
after the release of their 7-track ep, in december of 2002, sadbert's future began to spread out before them. their awesome stage presence and catchy melodies capture nearly any audience that is willing to stand and listen through one song. in 2003, they released 3 new songs, which made a huge impact on people all over the country. not only did the demo express a major growth from sadbert's 17-year-old line up, but also put them in the number one spot for houston's most popular downloads on mp3.com, and number three in texas. with their new songs to back them, they also managed to finish the 2003 ernieball battle of the bands in 7th place, of 2600 other bands across the country, and 1st place in a battle of the bands at one of houston's top venues.
well we have casey singing and on guitar and justin on guitar and dane on bass and david on drums. we are 4 guys full of enegery and crowd interaction. we love playing shows for people and love the reaction from the fans.
