Description:
After Athens consists of five vivacious characters all with unique attitude and vibe that provide a soothing blend of three guitars, a six string bass guitar, and an at times overly energetic drummer who knows how to throw down a beat. Our splendid vocals provide a serene twist of sweet harmonies that touch your soul in places you didn't know existed. We have been together for about a year and love nothing more then to bring "the show" and an excellent time to other music lovers.
Band Members:
My name is Michael "Good Game" Lee I am 23 and currently living in Logan. I write our songs and really try to come up with a unique sound that is fun and jumpy, but still meaningful and from within. I am the lead vocalist and rythm guitarist.
Aaron "Absent" Avery is 23 and from Logan. He is a truely amazing lead guitarist who frosts and decorates all of my sometimes plain cake songs. He has played guitar forever and really ads to our flavor and style.
Jon "The Lady Slayer" Reynolds is our Bass player who actually moved to the bass guitar from the cello. He has more musical talent and brain than most and is a serious goof. Jon also has a beautiful voice and sings.
Jason "I Should Be Married" Box is our great rythm/lead guitarists that brings the punk/ska style of guitar to our unique sound. With all those effect pedals he uses he must be a genius not to get lost! He hails from sunny southern CA.
Casey "Fratman" Halifia is our drummer. The newest edition to the band. Plays so hard he goes through sticks after twenty notes, and still never misses a beat.
