On Jan 2nd, we'll be playing The Metro again. It's $3.00 and starts @ 7pm.
~~The Metro was pretty cool. The other band only brought in 3 people, while we did a little better: over 20. It was a cool show, minus some more technical difficulties. It was great to be with friends, and to make some new fans; that was really cool.
On Feb 13th, we'll be at The Metro again with Smatchet. It's going to be an awesome show. 7pm and $3.00 Check out their site @ www.smatchet.com
~~The show on the 13th was a bit numbing, but I did hear something productive today: "Torn By Angst WAS the OPENING band." The crowd in the metro on this night was really apathetic. I don't think a lot of them knew what was going on. I think some actually woke up there and didn't know where they were. But nonetheless we played a good set and everything sounded pretty good. Our new song "Anyway" went over pretty well, even though for most of the night the crowd has lost it's voice. Numbing...it truely was. But whatever.
We grace The Metro again on April 16th with ANGRYHEAD. I've known one of the guys in ANGRYHEAD for over 6 years, but I haven't seen them play. It's going to be a really cool night. I just hope people show up to have fun and not pay $5 bucks just to stand around being quiet. The Metro- Torn By Angst/Angryhead -April 16th 2004, 6:30pm, $5.00
