I run the Local Band Network site so a lot of people think that I am a musician of some sort. Sorry to say they are wrong. I wish I was creative enough to create music that I like instead of just being a fan. Since I am not a creator of music I have no idea what goes into the creative process behind writing songs. I do know that when I need to be creative for other reasons (site content, gifts, proposals, etc.) I sometimes get stuck. I recently read an article about a site that Pete Townsend of the Who started with a composer/mathmetician and a software engineer. The site is www.lifehouse-method.com. You can go there for free and get a musical "portrait" based on your inputs. It might turn out great just the way it is or it might just give you ideas on which you can build.
