Description:
Weather Mark Tavern - South Loop’s Thursday Night Jazz Club! 8pm – NO COVER CHARGE ALL AGES UNTIL 10:30PM Full menu available until Midnight, veggie & kid friendly

In 1916 Johnny Stein's band from New Orleans played a style of music that was new in Chicago. A retired vaudeville entertainer, somewhat titillated by straight blended whiskey and inspired by the throbbing tempos of this lively band, stood at his table and shouted, "Jazz it up, boys!"

And… “Jazz’n it up” is exactly what South Michigan Avenue’s Weather Mark Tavern is doing in the Chicago’s Jazz Scene. This nautical themed tavern has made a name for itself by featuring some of the best Jazz in Chicago-land and some of the best food in the area. Weather Mark Tavern is “Jazzing it up” every Thursday night starting at 8pm with NO COVER CHARGE, ALL AGES UNTIL 10:30pm and a FULL DINNER MENUE AVAILABLE UNTIL MIDNIGHT. The tavern offers daily food and drink specials and a monthly on-line eCoupon for the traveler.

Thursday night SPECIALS INCLUDE ½ Price Appetizers. The tavern menu by head Chef Jake features American Bistro cuisine with a south western ascent not commonly found at a tavern restaurant. The restaurant is veggie friendly and has a great kids menu too. Stay late and take advantage of Thursday’s Select Rum Specials, with the tavern featuring over 40 different in-house rums.

Dinner is served until midnight every night. This event repeats every Thursday with a new band featured each week throughout the year. Log-on to www.WeatherMarkTavern.com for the tavern’s band schedule, but remember surprise guest ‘Jazz Cats’ sit often in and swing with improvisational music. You never know who you’ll see in person.
