Band Members:
melaniejane is a rock duo blending acoustic guitar and vocals with the electric guitar expertise of Mike Hoffmann (multi-major label recording artist -- http://www.mikehoffmann.net). Backing tracks are also used to fill out the sounds with everything from funky drum grooves to lush cellos and driving bass lines. melaniejane's vocals and stage presence has often been compared to Chrysse Hynde of the Pretenders. This act seems to be able to accommodate any crowd and in any size room from intimate coffeehouses to larger rock clubs as their music blends the generes of rock, blues, pop, hip-hop, folk and country. melaniejane is a 6 time WAMI nominee and renowned cellist as well as singer-songwriter/guitarist.
