REJN seeks to infuse a refreshingly atypical sound into the realm of modern music, combining ethnically driven Spanish and Middle Eastern microtonal melodies with visceral metal-esque rhythms and avant-garde guitar work that speaks to every emotion from the most impetuous rage to the subtlest felicity.

Former shredder/metal guitarist turned Latin/Funk aficionado, DERRICK AMBAT, 21, the powerful operatic vocalist/Eastern enthusiast CHRIS VAN BOOVEN, 19, virtuouso drummer, poet, and political activist, ADAM SHAHBAZ, 22,and the man with the golden finger, CHRISTOPHER "FUNK" FUNKHOUSER, 21, join forces to form REJN, the definitive hard rock band of the 21st century.

We all have our own reasons why we liked and, hence, chose the name REJN for band, and I'll get into those later. i'm thinking podcasts... anyway, we are growing quite quickly and I think its appropriate to let those of you out in myspace-land know that it's pronounced "rain." That is all at this time.

Rejn wins McMurphy’s battle of the bands finals!!
Thanks to everyone who came out last wednesday at McMurphy's and helping us win the final round of the battle of the bands. We got a pretty good streak going now......
