Description:
A music video (Korn's "Who Then Now?") spawned Ovlo in 1999. The band has written, recorded and played shows over the past six years, picking up a new singer in Spring 2003 and a new guitarist in Fall 2005. The sound is heavy, melodic rock - compared to Tool and Slipknot, heavier but living in the same world as Chevelle and System of a Down. Release of the EP is scheduled for Spring 2006. From local magazine Pulse Weekly: "Listen to some Ovlo tracks [A4]. You may be suprised how melodic a hard rock band can sound."
