Description:
Restraint was formed in the Summer of 2001. Chris got together with Rick, and in the basement of Rick’s house, they quickly began writing songs. They had 5 or 6 songs done before Eric joined the group, and temporarily filled in at bass. Soon after, Bill joined the band, and Eric was able to move back to guitar, which was his original position. Restraint’s music style has been compared to such bands as: Staind, Tool, Sevendust, (old) Creed, Chevelle, and the Deftones. The melodic bass/guitar parts, pounding drums, and emotional vocals/lyrics make for a great live show.. Restraint has one full length cd out called "The Piercing Sound of Silence" that was released July 25th of 2004.
