The Jacktown Hustlers (AKA: The Actual Facts)

The Band's earliest conception was created in 1996 by Brothers Victor & Matt McDermott and has gone through many line-up changes throughout the years. The band believes the "Music" is the most important presence in a Jacktown show and takes you through a progressive journey of the structure of music today (starting with Jazz moving through the Blues, Country, Folk, Rock, Funk, & Hip-Hop). Mainly an Original band, The Hustlers tend to pay tribute to those musicians & artists whom have inspired (or layed out the recipe to) the music that spews from thier very souls. It's not extremely rare to here an homage to bands & artists such as: Beastie Boys, Miles Davis, The Roots, Bob Marley, Frank Zappa, or Bob Dylan.
